Camera X is an independent film production company based in Malmö and Copenhagen, working across Scandinavia and internationally.

We develop and produce short films, feature films, and documentaries with a distinct artistic voice, focusing on character-driven stories shaped by lived experience and social reality. Our work explores identity, power, and human complexity, challenging dominant narratives while remaining grounded and cinematic.

Our current slate includes projects in development and pre-production, created in collaboration with international partners. We work closely with writers, directors, and producers to bring films to audiences through cinemas, festivals, and public broadcasters.

Our Team

Filson Ali

Producer / Director

Filson Ali is a filmmaker with over a decade of experience. She is the co-founder of CAMERA X, where she works as both a creative and strategic partner. Her work spans award-winning short films and documentaries, alongside a developing slate of feature films and a dramedy series. She works across international collaborations and creative development and is passionate about supporting stories that connect cultures, audiences, and contemporary perspectives.

Daniel Bezares

Daniel Bezares is a cinematographer and producer, and co-founder of Camera X. As a creative and strategic partner within the company, he develops and produces narrative and documentary films with a focus on visual authorship, long-form storytelling and international collaboration.
